Senior Software Tester (m/f/d) – Test Automation

Our 30-person Quality Engineering team ensures test automation and modern QA solutions in agile software development projects that are quickly available and optimally integrated into DevOps processes. Our projects are diverse, whether for smart devices, mobile, web, or cloud environments. Additionally, artificial intelligence is increasingly moving into the testing focus, both as a tool to make our workflows more efficient and as part of a software solution that we are testing. We deliver tailored solutions for each component, thereby guaranteeing long-term quality for our clients.

Your Role
- You develop, maintain and optimize scalable test frameworks and libraries—with a focus on reliability and maintainability.
- Your daily work is characterized by close collaboration with cross-functional development teams, product management, and our customers to ensure the creation of high-quality products.
- You integrate automated tests into CI/CD, perform tests and monitor their execution. You also create metrics and dashboard reports.
- You mentor QA talents, conduct code reviews of automated tests, and promote best practices.
- In addition to project work, you actively participate in the internal testing community and stay up to date with the latest developments.
- Occasionally you undertake project trips to Germany to support your team and your clients on site.
Your Profile
- You bring at least five years of experience in building test strategies as well as implementing test automation solutions, and you have already taken project responsibility for quality assurance.
- You have already gained relevant experience in AI-assisted testing, as well as in testing AI-based software products.
- You routinely use test tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress and Appium. You are also proficient in API testing with Postman, SOAP-UI or SuperTest.
- You are proficient in at least one programming language, such as Java, C#, JavaScript or Python.
- You have solid experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines, as well as testing within cloud environments.
- You speak English fluently. German language skills would be a plus.

Your Benefits
You have a contractually guaranteed budget of 1.5 gross monthly salaries per year at your disposal.
We do not have core working hours. You decide when you start and when you finish. The only condition: The cooperation with customers and in the team must work.
In the office, at home or at one of our locations: You decide when and where you work after consultation with your team.
When you start with us, we will provide you with experienced mentors for six months. They will support you as you settle in and help you with your induction. We will also introduce you to MaibornWolff at our kick-off events.
You decide how many hours you want to work. We are flexible. You can also adjust your working hours on a monthly basis.
In consultation with your team, it is possible to work with us throughout the EU.
With us you have 30 days to rest. If you work in a part-time model, you have a proportionate amount of time off.
