Unser Embedded-Software Team entwickelt komplexe, ganzheitliche Smart Devices für unsere Kunden. Rund 25 Kolleginnen und Kollegen mit unterschiedlichen Spezialisierungen arbeiten in vielfältigen Projekten: Von IoT-Gateways über Automotive bis hin zu Haushaltsgeräten und industriellen Robotik-Anwendungen ist alles dabei. Dabei nutzen sie vor allem Technologien aus den Bereichen Embedded Linux, RTOS, RF-Kommunikation, sowie die Programmiersprachen C, C++, Rust, Golang und Python.

Deine Aufgaben
- Du konzipierst, entwirfst und programmierst Embedded Software-Lösungen für Smart Devices nach modernen Clean-Code-Prinzipien.
- Du integrierst die Software in bestehende Systeme und bindest Geräte an die jeweilige IoT-Plattform an.
- Du testest die entwickelten Systeme, bereinigst auftretende Bugs und optimierst bestehende Software.
- Neben der hardwarenahen Softwareentwicklung arbeitest du mit Labor-Equipment wie Mess- und Lötgeräten oder dem Oszilloskop.
- Du übernimmst fachliche Verantwortung in Kundenprojekten und teilst dein Wissen im Team.
Dein Profil
- Du hast dein Studium in Informatik oder einer vergleichbaren technischen Richtung erfolgreich abgeschlossen.
- Du konntest bereits mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung mit Schwerpunkt Embedded/Smart Devices sammeln.
- Du verfügst über ausgeprägte Kenntnisse in C, C++ und Python. Idealerweise fühlst du dich auch in Programmiersprachen wie Rust oder Go zu Hause – dies ist jedoch kein Muss.
- Erste Erfahrungen oder Interesse an der Softwareentwicklung auf Embedded Linux (z. B. mit Yocto) sowie an gängigen DevOps-Methoden sind von Vorteil, aber keine Voraussetzung.
- Idealerweise kennst du dich bereits mit IoT-Plattformen wie Azure oder AWS aus – oder hast Lust, dich in diese Themen einzuarbeiten.
- Wenn du bereits Berührungspunkte mit Zephyr, Software Defined Radio (SDR) oder Funktechnologien hast, freuen wir uns.
- Du sprichst fließend Englisch, verfügst über gute Deutschkenntnisse oder bist bereit, diese im Arbeitsalltag weiter auszubauen.

Your Benefits
You have a contractually guaranteed budget of 1.5 gross monthly salaries per year at your disposal.
We do not have core working hours. You decide when you start and when you finish. The only condition: The cooperation with customers and in the team must work.
In the office, at home or at one of our locations: You decide when and where you work after consultation with your team.
When you start with us, we will provide you with experienced mentors for six months. They will support you as you settle in and help you with your induction. We will also introduce you to MaibornWolff at our kick-off events.
We pay 2,520 euros per year into your company pension plan.
You decide how many hours you want to work. We are flexible. You can also adjust your working hours on a monthly basis.
In consultation with your team, it is possible to work with us throughout the EU.
With us you have 30 days to rest. If you work in a part-time model, you have a proportionate amount of time off.
