We share our knowledge and experience
Joint exchange
Our tech communities focus on different technologies and methods. Interested colleagues come together to exchange ideas, share knowledge and experiences or discuss them. The communities are open to everyone at MaibornWolff who is interested in the topic and willing to get involved.
Open Source
For over 10 years, we at MaibornWolff have been promoting the topic of open source software through our community itself. We publish internal tools, libraries and results from our research projects as open source.
In all projects - internal and external - we analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the respective solutions from our customers' perspective and make a recommendation. This means that both open and closed source are used in our projects.
In focus: Artificial intelligence
At MaibornWolff, we are working intensively on artificial intelligence - even beyond our communities. A MaibornWolff team is investigating how we can best use AI internally at MaibornWolff to drive innovation effectively and efficiently. The team is actively working on integrating generative AI into our day-to-day work and exploring its potential benefits and limitations in customer projects.
To this end, we are establishing new approaches to software engineering in the form of training courses and presentations. In this way, we ensure that all employees are familiar with the latest methods, tools and instructions on the topic of AI.

The basis of agile excellence
The Agile Excellence Community of Practice is the home base for all agile practitioners at MaibornWolff. This is where they grow and learn together. The community serves as a platform for developing agile excellence across departments.
The aim is to expand our scope of action. We do this by empowering our teams, our managers and our customers to understand and use agile methods holistically.

Sustainability through Green IT
IT solutions used correctly can contribute directly or indirectly to CO₂ savings, less water consumption or better air quality. Within our Green IT Community, we exchange ideas and work on environmentally friendly and resource-saving digital solutions so that they can also be used in customer projects.

Directly at the user
In our UX community, we convey a fundamental understanding of how we translate and live usability at MaibornWolff. We use the community for mutual exchange, to deepen our knowledge and to receive new impulses from the team. We talk about the latest trends and proven best practices.
